Following are the forums of appeal where an appeal can be filed.
Appeal to the Commissioner (Appeals)
Any person dissatisfied with any order passed by a Commissioner or an [Officer of Inland Revenue] under section 121,122, 143, 144, [162,] 170, 182, [ ] [or 205], or an order under sub-section (1) of section 161 holding a person to be personally liable to pay an amount of tax, or an order under clause (f) of sub-section (3) of section 172 [declaring] a person to be the representative of a non-resident person [or an order giving effect to any finding or directions in any order made under this Part by the Commissioner (Appeals), Appellate Tribunal, High Court or Supreme Court], or an order under section 221 refusing to rectify the mistake, either in full or in part, as claimed by the taxpayer or an order having the effect of enhancing the assessment or reducing a refund or otherwise increasing the liability of the person [, except [an] assessment order under section 122C,] may prefer an appeal to the Commissioner (Appeals) against the order.]
Appeal to the Appellate Tribunal.—
(1) Where the [1][taxpayer] or Commissioner objects to an order passed by the Commissioner (Appeals), the [2][taxpayer] or Commissioner may appeal to the Appellate Tribunal against such order.
(2) An appeal under sub-section (1) shall be–—
(a) in the prescribed form;
(b) verified in the prescribed manner;
(c) accompanied [3][, except in case of an appeal preferred by the Commissioner,] by the prescribed fee specified in sub-section (3); and
[4][(d) preferred to the Appellate Tribunal within sixty days of the date of service of order of the Commissioner (Appeals) on the taxpayer or the Commissioner, as the case may be.]

سیکشن 121,122, 143, 144, [162,] 170, 182, [ ] [یا 205]، یا ذیلی دفعہ (1) کے تحت کسی کمشنر یا [ان لینڈ ریونیو کے افسر] کے پاس کردہ کسی حکم سے غیر مطمئن کوئی بھی شخص ) سیکشن 161 کا جس میں کسی شخص کو ٹیکس کی رقم ادا کرنے کا ذاتی طور پر ذمہ دار ٹھہرایا جائے، یا سیکشن 172 کی ذیلی دفعہ (3) کی شق (f) کے تحت حکم [اعلان کرنا] کسی شخص کو غیر رہائشی کا نمائندہ بنایا جائے۔ شخص [یا اس حصے کے تحت کمشنر (اپیلز، اپیلیٹ ٹربیونل، ہائی کورٹ یا سپریم کورٹ) کے ذریعے کیے گئے کسی بھی حکم یا کسی بھی نتائج یا ہدایات پر اثر انداز ہونے والا حکم، یا سیکشن 221 کے تحت غلطی کو درست کرنے سے انکار کرنے والا حکم، یا تو اس میں مکمل یا جزوی طور پر، جیسا کہ ٹیکس دہندگان نے دعویٰ کیا ہے یا ایسا آرڈر جس کا اثر تشخیص کو بڑھانے یا رقم کی واپسی کو کم کرنے یا بصورت دیگر اس شخص کی ذمہ داری میں اضافہ ہو
[، سوائے اسسمنٹ آرڈر کے سیکشن 122C کے تحت] کمشنر (اپیل) حکم کے خلاف۔]
اپیلٹ ٹریبونل میں اپیل۔—
(1) جہاں [1][ٹیکس دہندہ] یا کمشنر کمشنر (اپیل) کی طرف سے منظور کردہ حکم پر اعتراض کرتا ہے، وہاں [2][ٹیکس دہندہ] یا کمشنر ایسے حکم کے خلاف اپیلٹ ٹریبونل میں اپیل کر سکتے ہیں۔
(2) ذیلی دفعہ (1) کے تحت ایک اپیل ہوگی–
(a) مقررہ فارم میں؛
(ب) تجویز کردہ طریقے سے تصدیق شدہ؛
(c) سب سیکشن (3) میں متعین مقررہ فیس کے ساتھ [3]، سوائے کمشنر کی طرف سے ترجیحی اپیل کے معاملے میں؛ اور
[4][(d) ٹیکس دہندگان یا کمشنر پر کمشنر (اپیل) کے حکم کی خدمت کی تاریخ کے ساٹھ دنوں کے اندر اپیل ٹربیونل کو ترجیح دی، جیسا کہ معاملہ ہو۔]
